@Stephen: Thanks Stephen. One of the other photos from this series was this fox with a big juicy rat in his mouth. That cat may have been eyeing the same prize.

@Henny: I'm not sure either. I don't know if the fox even noticed the cat. They are good hiders.

@Marie: Not sure if he saw the cat or not, but also I think cats can run from foxes if they need to. They seem to escape dogs pretty easily.

The calico cat wanted to be as quiet as possible! The grass takes on the look of a sea and the cat has come above surface.
