@Gérard Flayol: thanks! the bottle was a bit of a prop though which she used as a drum noice so something else perhaps ??!

Unfortunately, many singers fall into alcohol or drugs and end up badly. Fame often leads to excess. It's a sad state of affairs, and this singer's attitude is a good example. Poignant photo.

@Marie: its true Marie, though in fairness, this young lady was singing a song about being drunk and the bottle was kind of a prop that she used as an instrument with a drum stick

I didn't know this singer, but after seeing your pictures I looked her up on YouTube. The amazing photo of her holding the bottle takes me back in time... to a whole generation of musicians (I'll be posting the lyrics of a song you surely know tomorrow) who, with all their contradictions, made history.
