Parade Barriers

Posted by
Jason Kravitz (Brussels, Belgium) on 20 November 2023 in Miscellaneous.

As you can see from this photo, metal fences were set up at this parade to keep people from going out into the street where the parade vehicles were driving in the street.

The only problem is they were also throwing copious amounts of candy into the crowd and a lot of candy was in the street beyond the barrier.

This kid was determined to stretch through the barrier to get to the candy in whatever way she could.

I was laughing because it was like watching some Mission Impossible level acrobatics to secure a few more pieces even though she already had a bag full of candy.
