Dreaming Westward

Another image I took of the scene yesterday but was on manual focus and snapped one that was blurred out,.

I kind of like the abstract colors and quality of this one. I also see it connecting to the prompt in the way that the people become shapes. Is it negative space or just one big blur?

I welcome your feedback and critiques.

I really like this image, the blur, the atmosphere and the colors. it is already closer to the theme than the previous one. but to be perfectly in the negative space theme, is an image must minimalist.

@Anna Cherer: Glad you like this one Anna and thanks for your ideas on negative space. I too was revisiting my ideas on what makes negative space images. At first I was thinking the shape had to looks like something clever like this bird and photograph. But then widening my definition to just describe the areas of the photo without a subject and a uniform color. In that definition, I'd say the main thing this image lacks is an actual subject to go with the negative space.

I really like this abstract... and I like how photography can tell stories, giving free rein to the imagination of the observer

yes you have analyzed your image and what is missing in your composition. try again ! ;-) I also researched the theme and reprogrammed some photos that I did not find well enough.

I personally love this image. The complement of the colors is superb. I think it fits the theme well.
