That sticker on the garbage can of the black and white face is the (in)famous Andre the Giant meme that I remember first seeing in Atlanta in the 90's. It was created by artist Shepard Fairey who later went on design another famous creation, the Obama, "Hope" poster.

From a couple art school kids in Rhode Island in the 80's, to Venice Italy in 2023, these Andre stickers have been a global phenomenon for decades -- showing us that in addition to all these tourists traveling around, ideas travel far and wide as well.
