Silky Scene - Planting a Seed

Posted by
Jason Kravitz (Brussels and Sometimes Oklahoma, Belgium) on 6 October 2012 in Landscape & Rural.

This is my submission to the Planting Seeds Aminus3 community challenge.

The idea of the theme is to identify a photographic technique that you'd like to improve, and post a photo trying that technique.

Then take the next few weeks to work on that skill and post an updated photo showing how you've improved...

The technique I'd like to explore further is Daytime Long Exposure. I'll be looking at Aminus3 photographer's Ian Bramham, Mike, and John Leech for inspiration on this technique.

These guys work mainly in B&W but I think it can be used with color as well as in this shot. We'll see how my learning goes over the next few weeks.

Stay tuned !

There are still a few days to participate in this theme - I encourage everyone to give it a try as it is a good way to learn a new photography skill this month.
