Old Stained Glass

Inside the Pont Croix cathedral - there were many excellent glass windows - some abstract, some depicting stories and this detailed view of an older window. The graphic style is much different from some of the more modern stained glass windows indicating that it is much older (modern meaning a hundred plus vs. older being four hundred plus)

Great feast of lights and colors!
I like the definition of old you mentioned. It's pretty much the same here with us too, old meaning at least a few hundred and even thousand years old. I can't understand a two or three generations old stuff people call their ancient history in some places I've been. :D

very strong colours and shapes! such windows are among my favourites, too, but i find them difficult to photograph!
