That's a beautiful view ... I'm wondering if the shot could have done with someone sitting in the chair reading but then again, an empty chair seems more inviting to sit in.

I've seen more perfect looking mountain views, but the composition, lighting and shadows really make this shot! The empty chair does look so inviting. One of my own favourite mountain shots has an empty chair too! :-)

I hope you don't mind but for shots like this, i like to go on bracketing. And also, can you pls try the BKT on the 40D? I would really love to see it. Thanks :) I'll show u some on the D300 if u want.

@Levine: Levine - bracketing is never a bad idea. I have not used the auto-bracket feature on the 40D yet. Since I've been shooting in RAW I tend to bracket less. I will sometimes manually bracket a difficult shot by a stop or two in either direction. This one might have done better with a darker exposure. I'll have to play around with the auto-bracket feature some time!
