Hallebos Bluebells

This is a better view of the beautiful bed of bluebells the coat the Hallebos forest floor each spring.
** update ** I brightened it up a bit and reposted... it was bugging me :)

I think you made a tough decision to make it blurred. I dont know which one would have been better. A little brightness, like a sunshine effect would have helped.

Good suggestions! I like the dreamy effect the blur/softness adds - particularily for the green leaves on the trees - the sharp one doesn't get this quality. Brightening it up would be good - it looks much darker on my work monitor than my laptop.

The blur is just the good choice. You simply did the best with the lightning conditions that day. Unfortunately wo don't have THE sunshine or THE ray of light at the moment we take our picture. Unless we wait, we wait and wait... This is also one the most important skills of a photographer: patience.

I didn't see the dark version but this one definitely has a good exposure level.
