Moon Dunes

Posted by
Jason Kravitz (Brussels, Belgium) on 15 March 2006 in Abstract & Conceptual.

The ISS photo assignment is currently "Mini-Landscapes" a topic which I proposed. The technique is open to interpretation but my original vision was to take a photo of something man made or non-landscape but make it look like a grand landscape.

I was originally going to do some close up detail of a face or body but went in a slightly different direction with this one.

I used my comforter on my bed and a bed-side lamp to create the moon effect.

Think this is a contender or should I keep working? The assignment is due on Monday...

Definitely a contender ... just so simple and clean. Perhaps a secondary light source (soft) to light up the 'sky' with 'clouds' would be an idea.

Really sharp shot. It could be the moon or some other planet.
