Embrace from Dark Space

Posted by
Jason Kravitz (Brussels, Belgium) on 12 December 2005 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

Another shot from my class - I've got one more shoot this Tuesday and am trying to think of some new ideas. I got a bunch of good images using the hands as a focal point last week. I like how the top hand floats out of the dark space almost like it belongs to someone else.

Unique pose...love the use of light and shadow. Good detail on the hands and belly button too.

Love the shadowing here....not to mention the black & white photography. It's my favorite and seems to add such mystery to a subject.

This is a very fine partial nude. Great tonality and composition. Doesn't hurt that the body's perfect, either.
