@Kristina: thanks Kristina - yes they are little gold fish or koi - which is strange for a small wooded pond - not sure how they got there (and don't get eaten by birds)

A lush, abundance of life, and yet so still. I can imagine it just zinging with the song of birds and insects, and an occasional kersplash of your dog leaping in, or....falling off a log.

@Joyce: we took our friends walking there the other night and their dog splashed in too - its a nice private dog swimming hole :)
