The Soundtrack of Our Lives (TSOOL)

Posted by Jason Kravitz (Brussels, Belgium) on 6 July 2009 in Lifestyle & Culture.

One of the benefits of city living... Leslie and I set out on our usual evening walk towards Flagey and arrived just in time to the opening set of a Swedish music festival (in honor of the inauguration of a Swedish EU Pres)

We ended up staying for three bands - Sofia Jannok, Wendy McNeill (who was Canadian but lives in Sweden and has a Swedish band) and these guys - The Soundtrack of Our Lives who put on quite an energetic live show.

This guitarist reminded me of Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap - he was full on with lots of karate kicks and other classic rock guitarist moves. Here is a one I posted to Twitter http://twitpic.com/96t64

I was glad I brought my camera with me - never know what you'll find living in the city !
