There is a crypt in the Dendera temple which is likely part of a much older structure than the ~2000 year old building on top.
There are some very curious depictions on the walls. The most famous is a couple guys holding what look to be giant light bulbs or maybe even Cathode Ray Tubes (search on Dendera Lightbulb in Google to learn more)
I find this one interesting...
It looks to me like a battery sort of device consisting of four terminals. There are streams of energy coming out of each one into a vase or tube.
Notice two of the terminals are sitting on a sphere with a zig zag line in it. The sphere usually depicts the sun and the zig zags may denote water but also current or frequency. The sphere is in a boat shaped object which is the shape of the Egyptian solar boat which is believed to be the vessel which took the pharaoh from this world to the next...
there is a lot of other discussion and information behind this brief paragraph which may or may not unfold as I continue to post photos from my trip... but anyway ... I find this to be a cool illustration :)
