This image represents a milestone for me and Aminus3. It was just a few years ago that Aaron and I setup this domain to exchange photos with each other from across the world. Since then Aaron has dedicated at least 1000 hours building and tweaking this site and shaping it into what it is today.
In those three+ years we have both moved to new countries and Aminus3 has expanded from a few people to a few thousand with hundreds of excellent images posted every day. I have enjoyed getting to know so many different people from around the world and have learned a lot about photography as well as people, societies and cultures in general.
A huge credit goes to the lady in this photo who has been by my side for nearly all 1000 images. Many of these photos were conceived by her artistic eye with me as the technician, turning dials and pushing the shutter. You are a constant source of inspiration and creative flow in my life!
Finally - thanks to everyone that visits this blog and graces me with your criticism, praise and comments each day. Even if I don't respond, I am always encouraged and thankful to those who take the time to share something with me.

Well, she is also a glamorous lady, and you are a skilled portraitist (I may have just made up a word). Thank you for all that you do for us who have the eye but not the skill. Understand that you are an artist, and keep up this good work as long as you can.

I've been checking your archive page, keeping an eye out for #1000! Glad to see you made note of it and a fine shot to boot. Leslie, beautiful as always.
Jason, your photography is truly an inspiration. Even if it was only ever just the two of us, I would have kept developing Aminus3 if it meant seeing more and more of your wonderful shots.
May you live to post 10,000 more...
