This appetizer was served in a seafood restaurant on the Portuguese coast. The barnacles seemed a bit strange to us. They look like tiny dragon claws and taste "of the sea" - or so I hear as I was too wimpy to try one.

I'd scarf down the shrimp, but it would take me a bit of liquid lubricant to try the barnacles. I'd rather photograph you eating them... and whatever might happen next... glurb. <laughing>
