Full Lunar Eclipse

After a night out at a comedy show we came outside to discover the moon had a very red glow to it. I was able to take some shots when I got home through my bedroom window.

I was tired and missed the full progression of this one. I was able to catch the full eclipse a few years ago and posted it on am3 here.

Awesome, unfortunately we didn't get to see it here due to the cloud cover. I'd love to get my hands on a 400mm lens =)

@Imaginate Studios: Thanks - I find myself using the 400mm lens less often (it's the Canon 400mm/5.6 prime) although its still great to have on hand for situations like this. I need to get out and do more nature photography as it comes in quite handy for that.

@Lyndsey Le: Thanks Lyndsey - I'm not sure what they are. I think they must be planets as they are quite bright and one was a kind of blue color.
