Theme: Work (part 1 or 3)
Thanks to Duncan for organizing this excellent theme. For those of you that didn't get to participate, hopefully this is the start of a new aminus3 tradition with many more opportunities to come.
Conceptually I was thinking about blurring the lines between the concept of work. In the Western world, many people have this perception that work is from 9 to 5 doing something less than desirable to make ends meet. The world would probably be very different if everyone could sustain themselves while following their passion.

I still admire your series of window workers! It's a great theme, and this one has a lot of feeling too! If you would like to contribute some pictures to my site for artistic photographers, I would be more than happy! We will give you useful feedback on every picture you upload and we will post your photoblog's address so that even more people will have the pleasure of finindg it! Hopefully you could find some inspiration there too. Cheers // Ralf

Really like this scene. These places are very comforting to me late at night - someone's willing to cook for me in the small hours: can't complain about that.

It's the one that I prefer in this serie. I would like to go there with all the group of work's theme to take a rice bowl!

Nice closing shot Jason, really liked your Working in Windows series. This like the others is a very interesting scene, liking the bright colours of the neon lights and the softer light inside the restaurant. Nicely taken!

Thanks for everything Jason. Lovely closer and I most enjoyed the windows/work theme. love the colours in this, such a lovely depth to them. Looks like the kind of place I'd frequent after a night on the town.

True.. but concepts is a matter of perspective. Photography presents the idea to the masses, but somehow, maybe many are afraid to explore the possibilities and rather stick to the same old theme.
Kudos on your exploration.. this is what photography supposed to be.
