Prison de Saint-Gilles modern

This shot looks more casual-while-walking-down-the-street-and-shooting than the previous one. I really liked the medieval castle looks of the front elevation.

No, I disagree. This one has a late afterrnoon dying-of-the-light mood in those yellow shades, and the corner brickwork on this side is even more extraordinary.

From my perspective this looks like a foto of three trees, glowing like burning lanterns, with the castle forming a nice contrasting backdrop.

@Shuva: no HDR on this shot... this shot and yesterdays shot have the same technique... I created a curves adjustment layer and set the curve so that the image is darker than the original. Then I use a mask and paint in the buildings at various levels of opacity. In this one I painted in the trees much more than everything else so they appear to glow. This shot also has an artificial sky - I couldn't bear the blow out sky so I added some clouds from another shot. A bit fake but I think it blends nicely :)
