As I am a big fan of b&w, obviously love this one. However, still think that the settings on your homepage to black background does not give your pictures the justice they deserve...

@Manuela: Thanks Manuela - Shuva and I have been trying to settle on a new style but have not found it yet. Leslie and I were just trying out all the existing am3 styles and wanted to see what an neutral gray (like the photoshop background) would be like. I may mess around with a new am3 style and see what people (and Aaron) think!
Lovely shot, I am however in 2 minds about the inclusion of the rocks/land. I seem to think it would look better without it, b ut then it looks cool this way as welll....aaaaarrrggghhh I DON'T know :)

Definitely, white background is much better. In general, I find it very hard to read pages with darker bg colours.
Nice shot.

I love how the cloud is masking the sun.

Nice shot. Was this originall in B&W or was it post-processed? I like how the rays of the sun is trying to escape the cloud and illuminating the other parts of the scene.

@Ryan Yam: Thanks Ryan - this was originally a color image converted to B&W in PS.
Definitely a shot made for B/W. I am glad that you too shifted back to the normal css :-). I am still double minded about the style.

I love this shot jason! Good choice to transform the shot into black and white. Eventhough I wonder how the colors were in the original. The dark rocks make the difference in this shot too. hope you're enjoying the weekend ciao jason

It's a very nice shot, though a bit dark for my taste. Maybe you can bump up the contrast to make the sunrays more dramatic. it's a good capture nevertheless

Though i liked the shot this way, i might liked it better if the details of rocks and the immediate layers become more visible.. Excellent B&W nevertheless jason.
