the "flame" effect in the photo is actually lights shining on water. I panned the camera over the surface as I shot a long exposure and used the flash to freeze the water coming from a small waterfall. The water looks a bit like smoke coming off flames...

This doesn't make any sense to me ... I keep seeing a reflection in glass. Interesting technique ... great outcome.

for me it seems more molten rock expelled from a volcano, than water, good "trompe l'oeil style" shot
