I discovered a Sunday afternoon soccer game at Piedmont Park and got a few good shots during the first half.

So you are entering into Sports Photography! Cool! Its always a difficult job to get people in action and this one is indeed a good one.

Good action shot. I can't decide if the ball's coming or going. The red strips contrast nicely with the blurry green bg.

Good shot. I think one of the secrets of sports photography is to concentrate on one player. The high shutter speed required to stop the action means a wide open lens. The other players will either be well focused if they are part of the play or blurred to create an interesting background.

Nice !! I think I would have cropped the white blurry think on the right though. I feel it is a little distracting. Other than that I think its a great action shot.

I like the intensity of the player's face you have captured.
