Rainbow Fields

It was a stormy day, but I had a feeling the clouds would break and I'd be treated to some nice dramatic afternoon light so I setup my camera on tripod to shoot some time lapse image sequences.

The sun eventually broke out creating some spectacular light and this double rainbow (perfect for the twin sign of Gemini in which the planet is moving into)

oh, WOW!!!!! how did you do that time lapse? taking lots of photos? or maybe video recording with your camera? that's amazing light changes you witnessed.
Absolutely beautiful.

And of course, you picked one of the best frames here, too, I love the clouds and light and ...the rainbow, too!

@Maria: thanks Maria - I use a Canon TC80N3 timer remote which lets me set a one second interval. With the camera on a tripod - and timer set, the camera goes on taking photos indefinitely (or as long as battery lasts). I import all the sills in Lightroom since it is easy to edit a batch of thousands of photos at once (cropping to HD 1920x1080 etc) To convert the stills to a movie, I use Apple QuickTime (version 7 which is free on Mac OSX has an import Image Sequence option).
